About The Job

We are seeking an experienced, commercially astute, and results-driven Commercial Development Manager to work closely with our Country Head of Airfreight and Executive Team. This pivotal role will focus on accelerating the growth of our Dry and Perishable Airfreight and Healthcare logistics solutions, driving strategic expansion and strengthening our market presence.

  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to acquire new business within our Air freight products and in the Healthcare vertical.
  • Represent Hellmann with professionalism and integrity, upholding our brand and values in every interaction.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities within key verticals, leveraging market intelligence and industry insights.
  • Collaborate with operational and solutions teams to craft compelling, scalable logistics solutions.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring commercially sound outcomes and risk mitigation.
  • Build on and nurture your relationships with key decision-makers across your network of client organisations.
  • Play a pivotal role in onboarding new customers and ensuring a seamless transition into HWL’s service ecosystem. You’ll be instrumental in helping clients unlock the full value of our offerings and grow their business with us.
  • Act as a strategic partner to key accounts, building long-term relationships and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Uncovering and translation of customer needs into tailored solutions, working closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior Commercial Development role within the logistics or supply chain sector, ideally with a strong focus on airfreight solutions and the healthcare logistics sector.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strategic mindset with strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
