Contract Type: Fixed-term, maternity cover (07/09/2026–07/09/2027)

Responsibilities
As the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will:
- Lead high-impact data projects with developers/analysts, utilising advanced SQL for integrating complex datasets.
- Guide senior leadership through performance management, delivering actionable intelligence for strategic planning.
- Collate stakeholder requirements to define project scope, analyse workforce metrics, and introduce new processes.
- Create powerful visualisations using tools like Power BI, Excel, SSRS, and Visual Studio, narrating impactful stories.
- Generate clear, user-friendly reports to enhance accountability and improve organisational transparency.
- Enable self-service data access for staff, streamlining insights and easing workflows.
Essential Requirements
For consideration, you must demonstrate:
- Proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven improvements.
- Specialist skills in BI tools and technical expertise, such as:
- Data quality assessment, profiling, and cleansing.
- Building statistical models and integrity checks.
- Exceptional communication: Tailoring insights to technical and nontechnical audiences, benchmarking clarity, and participatory presentations.
- Technical proficiency: Virtual presentation tools, advanced Excel, and proficiency with dashboards or coding.
- Enhanced interpersonal skills for cross-organisational collaboration.
- A relevant Level 6 (or equivalent) qualification to evidence core skill command.
