Senior BI Analyst (Finance) - 12 Month FTC

Please Note: This is a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to support data-informed financial decision-making. This role bridges performance data, financial insights, and strategic initiatives to enhance both on-track competitiveness and off-track profitability.

  • Proactively design and maintain Power BI dashboards for financial reporting (P&L, Cashflow, KPIs) which support stakeholders with generating clear and actionable insights
  • Develop month-end dashboard which supports the Finance Business Partner team with data analytics
  • Support the transition from Power BI PPU to Microsoft Fabric Capacity, utilizing good practice principles to redesign existing dataflows and transformations in the new environment
  • Integrate multiple data sources into the Fabric Capacity environment
  • Drive continuous improvement opportunities that leverage new features in MS Fabric and Power BI
  • Ensure data governance processes are maintained and followed appropriately – driving consistency across all financial datasets and systems
  • Support the transition to AI-driven reporting, including forecasting and anomaly detection, in collaboration with data science teams

What do we need from you?

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure, cloud platforms, or data warehousing solutions
  • Strong experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard design)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)
  • Good understanding of financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Proven experience in data governance, data quality management, and validation processes

Desirable:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Experience with Python or other analytical tools
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments
