Senior Bid Manager

Location: Home-based (UK) with occasional travel across the UK and Ireland

At Sodexo, we’re passionate about our people. We know that our teams are the key to delivering exceptional service and creating meaningful experiences for our clients, customers, and employees.

Sodexo is in the middle of an exciting growth programme, having recently won several major global and national contracts across Integrated Facilities Management and Food Services. To keep that momentum going, we're looking for an ambitious Senior Bid Manager to join the team and help us land the next wave of wins.

Some people write bids. You're going to build them: the strategy, the story, the design, the polish that turns a proposal into a win.

As Senior Bid Manager, you'll be the driving force behind first-class bids for some of the biggest names in tech, finance, media, FMCG, pharma, life sciences and professional services, working shoulder-to-shoulder with Business Development Directors and our sharpest subject matter experts to co-create solutions that genuinely stand out.

This is a back-of-house role with a front-row seat to some of Sodexo's most important deals. Fast-paced, high-stakes, and never boring.

Key responsibilities

  • Owning end-to-end bid management, driving momentum across tight, high-pressure timelines
  • Co-designing winning solutions with Business Development Directors/Managers and Subject Matter Experts
  • Leading bid writing and directing our SoCreative team so every final document looks outstanding
  • Running special projects tied to a bid, from bespoke websites and videos to standout creative
  • Partnering with the pricing team to help build accurate, optimised cost models
  • Managing internal stakeholders and governance across the bid pipeline
  • Getting hands-on with client engagement when it counts

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
