If you’re a senior bid manager who has a genuine passion for winning, I’d love to hear from you!
My client is looking to bring a strong all round bid professional into the team who can manage public sector bids, line manage a team of 2 (previous team management not necessary) and has a desire to succeed.
You’ll be joining a team of 14, bidding for waste services predominantly to local authorities. My client is completely open to what services you’ve bid for, but previous experience with public sector bidding would be an advantage. This role is based full time in the Northampton office and offers up to £70,000 + package.
You will lead bidding activities from initial opportunity assessment through to contract handover. You’ll take ownership of the full tender process, working closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality, competitive submissions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
