As a Senior Bid Writer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing compelling, winning submissions from initial PQQ through to final tender. Working alongside technical specialists, operational teams and senior stakeholders, you'll help secure major projects while becoming part of a collaborative, supportive work-winning team.
The Opportunity
This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll have the autonomy to lead bid submissions while helping shape the company's future pipeline.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading the preparation of PQQs, SQs and tender submissions from start to finish.
- Developing bid strategies and planning winning responses.
- Producing persuasive, high-quality client-focused content.
- Collaborating with operational teams and external consultants to develop technical submissions.
- Researching client requirements and tailoring responses to maximise success.
- Coordinating bid programmes, managing deadlines and ensuring compliant submissions.
- Preparing presentation materials and supporting client interviews.
- Maintaining bid libraries and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Visiting project sites to gather project information and develop compelling case studies.

About You
You'll be an experienced bid professional who enjoys transforming technical information into persuasive, engaging submissions.
You'll bring:
- At least 5 years' experience producing successful bids within the construction or civil engineering sector.
- A strong track record of delivering high-quality PQQs, SQs, ITTs and tender submissions.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Outstanding organisation and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Confidence working with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong Microsoft Office and presentation skills.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and exceptional attention to detail.
- A relevant third-level qualification is desirable but not essential.
