Senior BMS Commissioning Engineer

Manchester
£55,000 - £65,000 DOE + Company Vehicle + Pension + Excellent Benefits

We're looking for an experienced Senior BMS Commissioning Engineer to join a leading building automation specialist delivering high-profile commercial, healthcare, education and industrial projects. This is a senior, hands-on role where you'll lead commissioning activities, mentor junior engineers and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standard.

The Role:

  • Commission and optimise BMS systems across a variety of projects.
  • Produce descriptions of operation, commissioning schedules and technical documentation.
  • Carry out testing, fault finding, panel modifications and system validation.
  • Lead commissioning activities and support project delivery from start to handover.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers on site.
  • Attend client meetings, carry out site surveys and provide technical support.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with programme requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience commissioning BMS systems.
  • Experience with at least two of the following platforms: Trend, Tridium/Niagara, Siemens, Schneider or ALC.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC controls and BMS control strategies.
  • Electrically competent with excellent fault-finding and commissioning skills.
  • Previous experience leading projects or mentoring engineers.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
