We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Booking Assistant to join our Clinical Administration Booking Team based at the Administration Hub in Huntingdon.
This key role supports the delivery of an efficient, high-quality booking service, helping to ensure patients receive appointments and admissions within appropriate timescales and experience a smooth journey through their care pathway.

- Arranging outpatient appointments and inpatient admissions
- Communicating with patients by telephone
- Maintaining accurate patient information across multiple IT systems
The role involves close collaboration with:
- Clinical teams
- Administrative colleagues
- External services
To support effective pathway management. As some specialties receive a high volume of calls, the successful candidate should be comfortable spending a significant proportion of the day handling telephone enquiries.

- Excellent organisational, communication, and data-entry skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Patient-focused approach
- Professional, tactful, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a busy team
- Strong work ethic, accountability, and the ability to manage competing priorities
