About us
Pony is a London-based branding agency that specialises in building impactful brand identities and digital experiences for tech companies worldwide.
We work with startups and scale-ups to create brands that don’t just look great – they drive growth, attract investment, and stand out in competitive markets. Our reputation is built on creative excellence, sharp execution, and a deep understanding of the tech landscape. Over the past few years, we’ve partnered with 150+ companies, integrating seamlessly with their teams to deliver design that makes a difference.
We’re looking for a talented Brand Designer to join our studio on a full-time basis. The role is based in London, and the successful candidate will be expected to work from our studio in Design District a few times a week.
What matters most
• Experience in developing brand concepts from inception to execution • Proven track record of creating compelling brand identities that not only look great but also support business objectives and market positioning • Exceptional skills in logo design, typography, colour theory, and visual storytelling • Ability to research, strategise, and articulate a brand’s story, personality, and values • Strong UI skills: Proficiency in designing intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and functional user interfaces for digital-first brands, with a clear understanding of how UI impacts brand perception • The ability to translate a new brand identity into a compelling website UI is crucial for this role; therefore, proficiency in Figma is essential • A strategic mindset—an understanding of how branding influences a company’s competitive edge, user engagement, and long-term success • A genuine curiosity and drive to optimise your workflow using AI tools. We expect our designers to actively explore, experiment with, and integrate AI into their creative process—not as a replacement for craft, but as a multiplier for it. If you’re not already thinking about how AI can make you faster and sharper, this isn’t the right fit • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts and decisions effectively • Ability to work closely with clients, team members, and possibly developers, ensuring a cohesive brand experience across all touchpoints

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
