Edgewell Personal Care is a global leader in consumer goods, with brands such as Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black, and Cremo Grooming. We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Brand Manager to lead our Edgewell Shaving Team and leverage your experience to develop strategies that maximise growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
As our Senior Brand Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with the UK Head of Marketing to develop a market brand strategy based on insights to drive brand awareness and penetration.
- Mentor, manage, and develop Junior Brand Managers to propel them toward success.
- Own rolling 18-month marketing plans, aligning with global strategy and ensuring strategies are executed across pricing, promotions, product portfolio, channel strategy, and brand/media activities.
- Achieve and exceed annual targets for volume, net sales, gross margin, and brand health metrics.
- Manage marketing investment budgets to meet brand business objectives while engaging effectively with stakeholders and agencies.
- Develop and execute engaging, Total Marketplace (TTL) brand campaigns to drive Return on Sales (ROS) for retailers and Edgewell.
- Evaluate the ROI of key marketing initiatives, such as:
- Advertising creative
- Media investment
- Partnerships
- Major promotions Identify improvement opportunities to enhance efficiencies.
- Partner with EU Content & Digital teams to boost online media presence, increase consumer brand awareness, and ensure strategy alignment.
- Engage with internal stakeholders on brand positioning and initiatives, leveraging platforms like Deep Dives, Sales & Marketing Meetings, and Quarterly Reviews.
- Lead and approve launch plans for global New Product Development (NPD) and local line extensions.
- Conduct sell-ins to Sales and key retailers, and implement the full launch plan:
- Pricing & core principles
- 360 marketing strategies
- Promotional strategies
- Development of trade stories

Requirements
We seek experienced candidates with the following credentials:
- Degree or equivalent in a commercially-related subject.
- Substantial strategic experience in marketing and brand management, with a focus on FMCG or Cosmetics.
- Strong commercial acumen with a growth mindset and a proven track record of driving financial success.
- Leadership experience in line management positions.
- Proficiency in managing multi-agency budgets to develop 360-degree brand campaigns, including:
- ATL/Above the Line advertising
- Digital & Social Media
- Activation events
- BTL/Below the Line marketing
- Media buying
- PR activities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external third-party partners, adhering to excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Proven experience in managing sizable budgets while optimising ROI across multiple activations.
- Demonstrated success in delivering NPD launches, from conceptualising to commercial execution.
- Strong project management and execution skills.
