At Premier Foods, we're proud of our portfolio of much-loved brands and our ambitious plans for growth. Our Breakfast & New Categories team was established following the acquisition of FUEL10K and has a clear mission: to become the momentum makers and fastest-growing category within Premier Foods.
We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Brand Manager to lead the next stage of growth for FUEL10K and Ambrosia within the Breakfast category. This is a unique opportunity to combine entrepreneurial thinking with the scale and support of one of the UK's leading food businesses.
You'll take ownership of category growth strategy and execution across cereals, porridge, breakfast drinks, breakfast-to-go and future category innovations, playing a key role in shaping the future of our breakfast portfolio.
What you'll be doing?
As Senior Brand Manager, you'll sit at the heart of our growth agenda and be responsible for driving commercial performance, brand growth and innovation.
You'll:
- Own P&L, market share and brand health performance across the Breakfast business.
- Develop and deliver winning growth strategies that drive consumer trial and retailer support.
- Be the FUEL10K brand champion, ensuring the brand is brilliantly represented across every touchpoint.
- Lead communication and activation plans across FUEL10K and Ambrosia Porridge.
- Drive innovation, renovation and line extension projects from concept through to launch.
- Analyse category, consumer and performance data to identify opportunities and recommend actions.
- Partner closely with Sales, Insights, Finance, Category Management, Customer Marketing, Commercial Planning, R&D and Operations to deliver business objectives.
- Coach and develop an Assistant Brand Manager, helping them thrive and grow in their role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
