To learn more please visit http://www.convatecgroup.com About the role: This is a senior position within Ostomy Care UKI, responsible for the strategic leadership and end-to-end delivery of Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) marketing. The role leads the development and evolution of the DTC marketing strategy, including the delivery of key strategic programmes and the identification of new opportunities for growth and innovation within the segment. The Senior Brand Manager is accountable for delivering integrated, omnichannel campaigns that drive lead generation, engagement, and conversion to consumer acquistion, supported by a strong focus on data-driven decision making and continuous optimisation. The role requires close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation, including Inside Sales (CIC), Care Teams, Digital and IT teams, and Global Marketing. Acting as a key point of contact for global counterparts, the role demands strong communication, alignment, and the ability to influence across functions. The management of external partners and agencies is also a core component. A key aspect of the role is developing strong relationships with consumers (people living with stomas), supporting advocacy and engagement in line with Convatec’s Forever Caring mission. The role provides mentorship and guidance to the Brand Executive (DTC), supporting their development while contributing to overall team capability. More broadly, the role acts as the digital subject matter expert (SME) within the marketing team, leading digital initiatives, driving best practice, and supporting the ongoing development of digital capability across the organisation. Significant financial accountability sits within the role, including ownership of the DTC marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of investment and delivery against ROI targets through ongoing performance monitoring and optimisation. A strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements is critical, particularly in relation to data privacy, social media, influencer engagement, and patient interaction. Success in the role is measured through a combination of marketing effectiveness (lead generation and brand engagement), commercial impact (NCS), and return on investment (ROI). This role reports to the Marketing Director, Ostomy Care UKI. Your main duties & responsibilities: Strategy & Leadership Lead the development and delivery of the DTC marketing element of the Commercial Plan Drive the continuous evolution of the DTC strategy, improving integration, consistency, and scalability across all digital touchpoints Own and lead key strategic programmes, ensuring outputs are embedded into ways of working and drive measurable performance improvements Campaigns & Delivery Develop and execute integrated, multichannel marketing campaigns (TOFU / BOFU) to drive lead generation, engagement, and NCS Ensure campaigns are aligned to business objectives, customer needs, and brand strategy Customer & Engagement Refine & evolve customer personas and end-to-end journey mapping to improve personalisation, engagement, and conversion Ensure alignment between digital activity and patient needs, behaviours, and decision drivers Own and evolve the UK brand ambassador and influencer programme, leveraging patient advocacy to drive authentic engagement, support campaign delivery, and strengthen brand presence within the community Performance & Optimisation Design and implement robust performance frameworks to enable data-driven decision making across campaigns and channels Lead the development and evolution of tracking, attribution, and reporting approaches, improving visibility across the end-to-end customer journey Own and strategically manage the DTC marketing budget, optimising allocation across channels based on performance insights to maximise ROI, lead generation, and conversion outcomes Optimise channel performance and budget allocation based on real-time insights and ROI analysis Establish and champion a test-and-learn culture to drive continuous optimisation and performance improvement Monitor and track performance against KPIs, ensuring clear reporting and actionable insight generation Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Collaborate closely with CIC & Customer Care teams to align campaign delivery, performance reporting, and customer insight generation Conduct regular engagement with CIC and Care teams to gather insights on customer needs and unmet needs Partner with Global Marketing and Sales CoE to align on digital strategy, share best practices, and optimise performance Act as a key contributor to cross-market and global DTC initiatives, supporting capability development across regions Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership to local teams and international markets on digital marketing approaches, challenges, and best practices Innovation & Problem Solving Identify and implement innovative digital solutions and approaches to improve lead generation, engagement, and overall marketing effectiveness Lead cross-functional resolution of complex digital, tracking, and performance challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to business outcomes Develop more resilient and future-proof digital marketing approaches in response to evolving platform and regulatory environments Digital & Channel Ownership Oversee the maintenance, optimisation, and performance of Ostomy Care digital platforms, including websites Continuously assess and refine digital assets to ensure alignment with market needs, brand standards, and commercial priorities Community & Advocacy Build and manage relationships with patient advocates and influencers to enhance brand engagement and support marketing activities Skills & Experience: Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Direct-to-Consumer (DtC) marketing within a healthcare or regulated environment, with a strong understanding of compliance, patient engagement, and digital best practice Strong technical proficiency across digital marketing platforms and tools, including Google Analytics (GA4), Meta, Google Ads, Adobe, Optimizely, and content/creative tools (e.g. Canva), alongside the ability to effectively utilise and interrogate CRM and database platforms (e.g. D365, TalkDesk) Proven ability to develop and execute integrated, multichannel digital marketing strategies, with a focus on full-funnel performance, lead generation, and conversion optimisation Advanced data literacy, with experience using analytics, tracking, and performance metrics to drive insight-led decision making and continuous optimisation Experience in building structured, scalable digital marketing frameworks, improving ways of working and enabling consistent performance across campaigns and channels Highly effective communicator with the ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including global teams, agencies, and cross-functional partners Confident yet collaborative leader, recognised as a credible and respected voice, capable of influencing direction while maintaining a strong team-focused approach Demonstrated capability in leading through influence, building alignment across complex organisational structures and working effectively across multiple teams, functions, and geographies Strong team player with a commitment to developing self and others, actively supporting capability building, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment Qualifications/Education: Bachelors Degree Demonstration of continuous
