Senior Brand Manager

The Role: Senior Brand Manager
As Senior Brand Manager, you will sit within the Corporate Affairs division and play a central role in supporting the development, governance, and enablement of Howden’s global brand across a sophisticated, federated organisation. The role ensures the brand is:
- Applied consistently
- Evolves strategically
- Effective at scale (while working closely with collaborators from different regions and functions)
What You’ll Be Doing
Brand Oversight and Facilitation
- Support the implementation and ongoing evolution of the global brand framework throughout the organisation.
- Partner with stakeholders across regions and business units to drive effective, commercially practical brand application.
- Help handle brand governance processes, approvals, and compliance initiatives.
Brand Identity and Mentorship
- Support the development, management, and evolution of brand identity systems, guidelines, and standards.
- Maintain and update brand mentorship to reflect:
- Interpersonal needs
- Digital requirements
- New technologies
- Work closely with internal and external creative partners to ensure high-quality execution across all brand touchpoints.

Stakeholder Management
- Build positive relationships across the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor on brand-related matters.
- Influence team members at all seniority levels in a matrixed, global business.
- Collaborate closely with:
- Design
- Content
- Marketing
- Communications
- Operations
- External agency partners
Who We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in a brand management role within a sophisticated or global organisation.
- Experience managing brand governance, frameworks, or mentorship at scale.
- Strong project management skills, balancing critical thinking and practical delivery.
- Expertise in working with creative specialists, able to provide informed feedback and clear direction.
- Evidence of establishing effective relationships and influencing stakeholders:
- Across functions
- At all seniority levels
- Ability to lead multiple priorities and workstreams in an evolving or ambiguous environment.
Desirable Attributes
- A degree or equivalent professional experience in:
- Brand management
- Marketing
- Communications
- A related field
- Strong written and verbal English to communicate brand mentorship clearly and effectively.
- Good numeracy skills, with confidence in:
- Working with budgets
- Resource allocation
- Performance considerations
