We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our team in the London head office.
About Our Role
You will play a key role in delivering innovative bridge and structural engineering solutions. Working on large-scale UK and international projects and undertaking design and analysis using structural/finite element software, day to day tasks will include:
- Deliver engineering solutions and report results to managers and clients in accordance with international standards
- Assist with coordinating design as part of an internal team and liaising with external associated professionals and our clients
- Support Graduates through the processes and requirements for completion of their Chartership
- Assist in sourcing and developing business opportunities and developing client relationships
About You
- Degree qualified and Chartered Engineer through a recognised institution (ICE, IStructE)
- Bridge Engineering consultancy experience on large, complex projects
- Extensive knowledge of Eurocodes and other national and international industry standards, contracts, methodologies, procedures and best practice.
- Experience predominantly in large scale (c.£100m+), high profile infrastructure projects, for a range of UK and international Clients in various construction market sectors, including Design & Build projects.
- Knowledge and experience in structural analysis/finite element software such as LUSAS, MIDAS, RM Bridge, SAM, as well as Excellent Microsoft Office abilities (particularly Excel)
- Ability to respond quickly to changing circumstances whilst maintaining a clear view of overall priorities
- Excellent team working skills; able to lead, contribute to and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix environment
