Our client is a leading London Market Wholesale Broker, with a strong global presence, renowned for delivering bespoke insurance and reinsurance solutions across a broad range of complex risks.

This key-player within the London Market is now looking to strengthen both its Upstream Energy and Energy Liability Divisions and is now seeking experienced, commercially minded and ambitious Senior Brokers/Producers to support both the servicing and continued growth of the portfolio. The role will focus primarily on business generated through third-party brokers (predominantly US retail brokers) and via company's global network. While there is an emphasis on developing new business and expanding the portfolio, there is no expectation to bring an existing book of business. Instead, our client is realistic and is seeking individuals with strong market relationships, technical expertise, and the ability to maximise opportunities, by collaborating with the global network, working closely with other divisions, attending networking events and business travel or develop and maintaining relationships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
