The Role
My client is growing their Building Surveying team.
They now seek a Senior Building Surveyor who must be MRICS qualified to help the Associate and to work on a broad-based range of duties.
There will be the opportunity for the right person to move up to Associate level.
You will need broad-based experience as projects include work for both private and public sector clients.
Although ideally this role is London-based, you could also work from their Surrey or West Midlands offices with some time in London as required.
The Company
My client is a firm of consultants with three UK offices at present.
They are multi-disciplinary and currently do Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Project Management along with Dispute work.

The Candidate
You will be either a Building Surveyor or Senior Building Surveyor currently.
You must be MRICS qualified and have at least four years of experience across a range of building surveying duties.
You may have some experience of mentoring and supporting junior building surveyors and helping them towards achieving chartered status.
You need broad-based building surveying experience to include:
- Party Wall Services
- Dilapidations advice
- Defect analysis
- Report writing
- Doing Licences to Alter
- Condition Surveys
- Acquisition Surveys
- Specification Writing
- Contract Administration
- Project Management
- Being able to assist with Expert Witness matters including doing site inspection and CPR35 reports.

Salary is in the region of GBP60000 to GBP80000 negotiable plus pension, discretionary bonus, BUPA, Gym membership, cycle to work scheme and more.
