Job Title: Senior Building Surveyor
Location: Leeds
Salary: £45,000–£65,000 (dependent experience) + excellent benefits
The Opportunity
A global consultancy in the built environment sector is expanding its Leeds team and is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to support a growing pipeline of work. Following a successful 2026, which saw the business expand into new sectors and introduce additional service lines, the Leeds office is entering an exciting period of investment. You’ll deliver a blend of professional and project based surveying services across a variety of sectors; education, healthcare, private residential, housing, retail, industrial and local government properties, all within a culture that genuinely prioritises people, wellbeing and long term growth.

- Carry out building surveys, inspections, condition assessments and technical reports
- Prepare specifications, design information and contract documentation
- Lead contract administration and monitor construction progress
- Support project delivery from feasibility through to completion
- Build strong client relationships and represent the consultancy professionally
- Share knowledge within the team and support junior colleagues
- Cross collaboration with internal departments to support business growth strategies.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Building Surveying (or equivalent)
- MRICS preferred, or actively working toward chartership
- Strong technical understanding of building pathology and construction processes
- Clear communication skills and confidence in client facing environments
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach
