Salary: £45,000 – £52,000 + 2% annual performance-based bonus
Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Location: Hybrid – Cardiff or Redhill office
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team in a dynamic, fast-paced Agile environment. This role is key in reviewing, analysing, and evaluating business systems, processes, and client needs to support the delivery of strategic business objectives.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, acting as a bridge between business and technical teams, while driving requirements, improving processes, and contributing to successful project delivery. This role also offers the opportunity to mentor and guide junior Business Analysts and take a leadership role across complex initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage business analysis activities across assigned projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit requirements and propose effective solutions
- Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and third-party vendors
- Produce and maintain high-quality documentation including requirements, use cases, and process flows
- Support systems mapping and integrations
- Contribute to the implementation of new technologies aligned with business goals
- Evaluate software solutions and enhancement requests for feasibility
- Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are met during testing
- Deliver system demos and support the creation of training materials
- Contribute to BA standards, policies, and best practices
- Mentor and coach junior Business Analysts
- Support BA practice development and communications
- Provide regular updates on project progress and workload status

Skills & Experience Required
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management
- Proven experience working within Agile delivery environments
- Solid understanding of SDLC and system design principles
- Experience using SQL for data analysis and reporting
- Background in insurance claims systems, particularly international assistance and travel claims
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to improve workflows and system integrity
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring other Business Analysts
- Ability to independently manage smaller initiatives and enhancements
- Experience triaging and coordinating production issues
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent documentation skills (including tools such as Visio and MS Office)
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
