The Role
Riviera Travel is entering an exciting period of transformation across both Technology and the wider business, and we are looking for a highly capable, technically minded Senior Business Analyst to join our Technology and Change team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role across a range of strategic programmes, supporting large scale business, process, and technology change initiatives. You will contribute across multiple transformation workstreams, providing the flexibility and expertise to add value wherever it is most impactful.
Operating across the full project lifecycle, you will act as a trusted partner between Technology and the wider business, ensuring requirements, impacts, and outcomes are clearly understood, documented, and delivered.

You will lead complex, cross functional change, working across a variety of initiatives and systems. This role requires someone who is confident engaging in technical discussions, translating business needs into clear and actionable specifications, and guiding teams through discovery to delivery.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead business analysis activity for medium-large programmes, owning discovery, definition, design, and delivery artefacts.
- Plan and run cross-functional workshops, technical deep-dives, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
- Translate business objectives into structured epics, features, user stories, functional specs, and process models.
- Produce high-quality documentation including data mapping, interface specifications, system interaction diagrams, and requirements traceability.
- Work closely with Enterprise and Solution Architects to shape optimal solutions and operating models.
- Support integration design, testing, and end-to-end validation activities.
- Provide mentorship, oversight, and quality assurance to BAs across the team.
- Act as a point of escalation for requirements, scope, or traceability issues.
- Ensure business readiness, impact assessment, and change implications are fully understood.
Essential skills & Experience
- Strong technical BA background with experience across integrated systems, APIs, and complex IT programmes.
- Ability to confidently engage with architects, developers, and technical SMEs.
- Skilled in producing user stories, process models, interface specifications; experience with Azure DevOps or JIRA.
- Solid understanding of data flows, mappings, structures, and integration dependencies.
- Experience working through full SDLC, including supporting testing and validation.
- Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to translate complex technical detail into clear, business-friendly language.
- Calm, collaborative, personable communication style with strong analytical and problem-solving capability.

Desirable
- Experience in travel, tour operations, or booking/transactional platforms.
- Background in both legacy and modern platform integrations.
- Relevant certifications (BCS, IIBA, Agile BA).
