M&A Integrations Business Analyst | Sheffield (Hybrid) | Fixed Term Contract – 9 Months
Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering exclusively with a Sheffield-based business in the midst of an active acquisition strategy to find a Business Analyst who thrives in the complexity of post-merger integration.
If you've done the real work of bringing two businesses together — this one's for you. Not transformation for transformation's sake. Not an ERP rollout dressed up as change. This is genuine integration work: helping acquired businesses understand what they are today, and defining what they need to become.
What the role involves:
- Working closely with the Integration Project Manager, you'll lead the analytical side of each acquisition — building Target Operating Models across process, people, systems, data, and culture.
- You'll turn integration objectives into structured requirements, process maps, and system change specs.
- You'll run the cross-functional workshops that make alignment actually happen.
- Managing dependencies across a live change portfolio and contributing to an evolving integration playbook are also core to the role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
