About The Role
As a Senior Business Analyst at Kainos, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to understand complex client requirements, analyze business processes, and translate these insights into clear, actionable deliverables for the development teams. You will work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and delivery teams to ensure that solutions meet user needs, are aligned with strategic goals, and are delivered within scope, time, and budget constraints. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to facilitate collaborative workshops and discussions. You will be instrumental in shaping the success of digital transformation projects, ensuring that the final outcomes deliver tangible value to clients and end-users.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business analysis within an agile environment, preferably with experience in the public sector or healthcare. Candidates should demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence at various levels. Proven experience in writing high-quality user stories, managing backlogs, and modelling business processes is essential. A broad understanding of both business and technology domains, along with awareness of industry trends, will be advantageous. Candidates must be comfortable working under tight deadlines in complex environments and have experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams. A relevant degree or professional certification in business analysis or related fields is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead analysis activities to ensure solutions align with user and business needs, providing clarity and direction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather requirements, drive consensus, and support decision-making processes.
- Translate complex business requirements into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria that guide development teams.
- Manage and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring that work is aligned with business value and project priorities.
- Model current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") business processes to support change management and stakeholder buy-in.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to design cost-effective, high-quality solutions that meet client expectations.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, ensuring continuous engagement and satisfaction.
- Support the delivery process by working within commercial and technical constraints while maintaining quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing insights and best practices within the team.
