Senior Business Analyst

Senior Business Analyst – The AA, London

  • Location: London (Hybrid working – 3 office days per week)
  • Employment Type: Permanent, full-time
  • Additional Benefits: Annual Bonus, Cash-Car Allowance & Private Medical Insurance

About The AA

Think the AA is just about roadside assistance? Think again.

For over a century, we’ve been evolving and adapting. Today, as the nation’s leading motoring organisation, we offer a wide range of products and services to millions of customers—from roadside assistance to home and motor insurance, and the latest driving technologies. As we continue to expand, diversify and modernise, your role as a Senior Business Analyst will be crucial in driving our continual growth and innovation.

At The AA’s Chief Operating Office (COO), we shape and support our future with stability, scalability, and bold new paths. We’re the architects of change.

The Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work across diverse technology change programmes, key areas including:

  • Insurance
  • Road Operations
  • Sales
  • Finance
  • B2B
  • Wider Group Functions

You will be the strategic link between business stakeholders, product teams, architects, developers, testers, and external partners.

This isn’t just a business analysis role—it’s the opportunity to operate at the intersection of digital platforms and legacy systems. You’ll bring sound judgement to ambiguous, complex landscapes—understanding and connecting ideas to deliver tangible outcomes, all while guiding teams through both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

You will also act as an ambassador for the wider Business Analysis community, sharing skills, mentoring junior colleagues, and championing best-in-class ways of working. Experience from sectors like Insurance, Financial Services, Payments, Mobile Workforce Management, SAP, Regulatory Change, or Supplier-led Technology Delivery would be perfect but isn’t mandatory. Relevant professional qualifications such as BCS or IIBA might hold extra career value.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
