Senior Business Analyst

At Cabot, we’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead the analysis, definition and design of complex change across the business. This is a hands-on, senior practitioner role focused on solving problems, shaping solutions, and ensuring outcomes deliver real value. You’ll work closely with Product, Technology and Operations teams to make sure change is clearly defined, feasible and aligned to business goals. With a high degree of autonomy, you’ll tackle ambiguity head-on, applying sound judgement and influencing decisions across cross-functional teams.

What you can expect as a Senior Business Analyst:

  • Permanent Hybrid office role – Kings Hill, ME19 4UA.
  • Competitive salary and a fantastic bonus scheme.
  • Discount and cash back on hundreds of high-street shops.
  • Private health insurance.
  • Plus much more.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support delivery of complex business and technology change, ensuring analysis is high quality and consistent.
  • Lead requirements definition and solution design from problem statement through to delivery.
  • Apply advanced analysis techniques (process modelling, impact, root cause, options and data analysis) to shape solutions.
  • Elicit, analyse and document business needs into clear, high-quality artefacts (e.g. user stories, process models, acceptance criteria, business rules).
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design pragmatic, scalable solutions, maintaining traceability from business need to outcome.
  • Ensure non-functional, operational, regulatory and risk considerations are captured early and embedded in design.
  • Manage and refine backlogs, ensuring work is clearly defined, prioritised and delivery ready.
  • Support the full change lifecycle, including testing, implementation, business readiness and handover.
  • Facilitate workshops to explore problems, define solutions and drive decisions.
  • Present clear recommendations, including risks, impacts, trade-offs and constraints.
  • Identify risks and dependencies early, proposing mitigations to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Ensure outcomes deliver intended business value, contributing to review and continuous improvement.
  • Champion strong business analysis practices and share learning to improve delivery maturity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
