Job Title: Senior Business Analyst - Applied AI and Innovation
Location: Remote - UK based
Salary: £65,000-£80,000 DOE
Job Type: Permanent - Full Time
Do you want to own the business foundations that turn AI ambition into measurable outcomes?
Can you move confidently between frontline teams, senior leaders and external customers - asking the questions that uncover what really matters?
Are you the person who creates clarity, takes accountability and keeps valuable change moving through to adoption?
If you want visible ownership in a new, board-backed AI practice, this could be your next move.
The Role
As one of the first hires into TIEVA's AI Practice: Applied AI and Innovation, you will own the business analysis that turns promising ideas into trusted, measurable outcomes. You will work across TIEVA and selected external customer initiatives, leading discovery from the first question through requirements, adoption and value realisation.
This is a Senior Business Analyst role first - not a coding role and not a sales role. Partnering closely with the Principal Architect and our growing AI team, you will own the why, what and measures of success. You will make sure we solve the right problem, use reliable data and build something people can confidently use.
What you'll own
- Lead discovery workshops and map end-to-end customer journeys, current-state processes and practical future states.
- Turn needs into prioritised use cases, costed business cases, clear requirements, acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes.
- Establish data ownership, quality criteria and integration needs before delivery begins.
- Drive change and adoption with internal teams and customer stakeholders, using feedback to improve what we deliver.
- Own the use-case register, surface risks early and report progress, value and learning to senior leaders.
Your first-year impact
- A transparent, scored pipeline of opportunities with investment-ready business cases.
- At least one internal and one external customer initiative moved from discovery into measurable use.
- Reusable process, data and adoption foundations that make the next initiative faster and safer.
The Candidate
What you'll bring
- 5+ years' business analysis experience and a track record of delivering complex transformation work.
- Strong process and customer-journey mapping, with the judgement to find root causes rather than document symptoms.
- Experience building business cases, shaping testable requirements and working confidently with data quality, ownership and integration.
- The credibility to work with operational teams, senior leaders and external customers - listening well, challenging constructively and creating shared clarity.
- A self-directed, accountable approach: you see what needs doing, create momentum and follow through on outcomes.
- Clear communication without jargon, backed by concise, reusable analysis that both business and technical teams can act on.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
