Senior Business Analyst – Front Office | Precious Metals Trading
Up to £115,000 per annum + Bonus + Benefits
About the Role
A Business Analyst specialising in Precious Metals / Metals, with a focus on regulatory reporting, is required by a leading commodities & energy trading firm.
Your expertise will drive the expansion of the energy trading sector, alongside a new desk within this space. The ideal candidate must have direct experience in precious metals trading (or metals in general) and knowledge of energy trading, whether in derivatives or physical markets.
With plans to scale up by implementing a new ETRM system, the company is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work closely with traders and refine operational processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with front-office traders and stakeholders to map and optimise end-to-end trade flows across precious metals, with exposure to base metals, power & gas markets.
- Assist in the build-out and scaling of a rapidly growing precious metals trading function.
- Serve as the primary interface between front office, operations, risk and technology teams, ensuring seamless trade execution and lifecycle management.
- Analyse and enhance trading workflows, from trade capture to settlement and reporting.
- Support the implementation and refinement of a new ETRM system, ensuring alignment with trading needs and operational processes.
- Operate within an Agile delivery environment, contributing to backlog refinement, prioritisation, and iterative improvement.

- Closest station: Barbican
- Working Model: Hybrid (3 days in-office per week)
