Senior D&IT Business Analyst | Global Energy Trading House | London, UK | £70,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A leading global asset-backed energy and commodity trading house is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their London team, working across Oil, Gas, LNG, Power, and Biofuels. This is a technology transformation role - you will be working on a range of IT programmes including an immediate global cloud transformation project. You will also gain exposure to Openlink Endur as part of the wider portfolio, though this is not an ETRM role. Based in Central London with a 3 days in office, 2 days remote working pattern.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead and support technology transformation programmes across a global trading business, with a primary focus on cloud migration.
  • Translate complex business and trading requirements into clear, actionable outcomes for IT and development teams.
  • Maintain a holistic, end-to-end view of the application landscape, managing dependencies and trade-offs across projects.
  • Work closely with Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Back Office stakeholders across London, Singapore, and Houston.
  • Drive cloud-native and data-driven solutions, balancing operational stability with transformation objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
