An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a leading consulting organisation delivering complex business transformation and digital change programmes for a diverse portfolio of clients.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex business challenges, working closely with stakeholders and translating strategic objectives into practical, deliverable solutions.
The successful candidate will work alongside business and technology teams to analyse existing processes, define future-state solutions and ensure business change initiatives deliver measurable value. They will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, helping organisations improve efficiency, optimise processes and successfully deliver transformation programmes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in fast-paced consulting environments, collaborating with senior stakeholders and making a genuine impact across multiple industries.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting clients through every stage of the business change lifecycle by identifying opportunities for improvement, gathering requirements and ensuring solutions meet business objectives. Working across multiple projects, they will partner with business stakeholders, delivery teams and technical specialists to ensure programmes are delivered successfully while maintaining a strong focus on customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
The successful candidate will:
- Analyse existing business processes and develop clear AS-IS and TO-BE process models.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business performance.
- Conduct detailed business analysis to support digital transformation initiatives.
- Produce high-quality documentation including business requirements, functional specifications and process maps.
Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Engagement
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading stakeholder workshops and interviews to capture, validate and prioritise business requirements.
- Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across business and technical teams.
- Translating complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
- Acting as the bridge between technical delivery teams and business users throughout project delivery.
Business Transformation Delivery
The successful candidate will:
- Support the development of business cases and solution recommendations.
- Produce user stories, acceptance criteria and requirements documentation.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborative working sessions across multiple stakeholders.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and change management activities.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to project sponsors and key stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation including requirements traceability and project artefacts.

Data Analysis & Decision Support
The role will also involve:
- Analysing business data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Using analytical insight to support strategic decision-making.
- Providing recommendations that improve business processes and customer outcomes.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within consulting, digital transformation or change programmes.
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organisational levels.
- Experience facilitating workshops and requirements elicitation sessions.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and the full project lifecycle.
- Strong business process modelling and process improvement experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work across multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Desirable Experience
Applicants with any of the following will be at an advantage:
- BCS Diploma in Business Analysis, CBAP or equivalent Business Analysis certification.
- Experience working within digital transformation programmes.
- Familiarity with project management and Agile collaboration tools.
- Previous consulting experience delivering change across multiple sectors.
