Senior Business Analyst (Murex)
London (Hybrid)
Day rate contract up to £750 per day (Inside IR35)
Talentedge Tech are delighted to be working with a leading global technology consulting partner supporting the delivery of strategic change for a major international investment bank.
We're looking for an experienced Murex focused Business Analyst to join a high-profile capital markets programme, working closely with Front Office, Risk, Operations and Technology teams on the enhancement and optimisation of a global Murex platform.
What you'll be doing:
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements across Front-to-Back Office.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications.
- Configure and support Murex solutions across trading workflows.
- Work closely with developers, QA and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support functional testing, UAT and production releases.
- Analyse trade lifecycle, pricing, market data and static data issues.
- Drive process improvements and contribute to strategic platform initiatives.

What we're looking for:
- Strong experience as a Murex Business Analyst within Investment Banking or Capital Markets.
- Hands-on knowledge of Murex MX.3 across most of these areas: Front Office, Market Risk, Back Office, Trade Lifecycle, Static Data, Market Data.
- Good understanding of OTC Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX, Rates and Credit products, Pricing & Risk concepts, Trade lifecycle and post-trade processes.
- Experience producing functional specifications, managing stakeholder requirements and supporting UAT.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business teams.
