About The Role
The PPF is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence key projects and initiatives that impact the pensions industry and the financial security of millions. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and translating business needs into technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to ensure that projects are delivered effectively, aligning with organizational goals. This position is hybrid, based at our Croydon Head Office with a requirement to work from the office at least two days per week, complemented by remote working flexibility. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business analysis within financial services or a related sector. A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role is preferred, with proven expertise in process mapping, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement. A relevant degree or professional qualification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with pension schemes, regulatory requirements, and financial systems will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Business Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing existing business processes related to pension scheme management and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Gathering and documenting detailed business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance standards.
- Collaborating with IT teams and external vendors to facilitate the design and implementation of technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Leading stakeholder workshops, communicating effectively across departments, and providing guidance on best practices for process optimization.
- Supporting change management initiatives, developing comprehensive test plans, and assisting in user acceptance testing to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitoring project progress, preparing reports, and presenting findings to senior management.
