We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Assurance Manager to lead governance across our Escorting Services Contract, covering International Removals (IR) and In-Country Escorting (ICE).
This is a strategic leadership role, providing independent assurance to the Contract Director and Senior Leadership Team, ensuring delivery is compliant, efficient, and continuously improving.
The Role
You will own the Business Assurance function, overseeing governance, performance, audit, compliance, and risk across the contract. Key areas include:
- Governance & Contract Compliance
- Audit & Business Assurance & Risk
- Performance Management & Reporting
- Business Intelligence & Data Analytics
- Information Assurance (GDPR / ISO27001)
- Health, Safety & Environmental Governance
- Business Continuity & Operational Resilience

You'll lead a multidisciplinary team, deliver performance insight, manage risk, and represent the contract in senior forums with the Home Office and corporate stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent assurance on contractual compliance and performance
- Lead governance frameworks, reporting, and audit activity
- Oversee KPIs, SLAs, and performance insight
- Drive data-led decision making and continuous improvement
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships, including Home Office governance boards
- Ensure effective risk, audit, and compliance management
- Lead business continuity, information governance, and H&S assurance

About You
Essential:
✔ Senior leadership experience in a complex, regulated environment ✔ Strong background in governance, assurance, compliance, or performance ✔ Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams ✔ Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills ✔ Strong analytical and reporting capability
Desirable:
🔹 Experience in government, justice, or custodial environments 🔹 Knowledge of Home Office contracts 🔹 Relevant professional or leadership qualifications
