We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Assurance Manager to lead governance across our Escorting Services Contract, covering International Removals (IR) and In-Country Escorting (ICE).

This is a strategic leadership role, providing independent assurance to the Contract Director and Senior Leadership Team, ensuring delivery is compliant, efficient and continuously improving.

The Role

You will own the Business Assurance function, overseeing governance, performance, audit, compliance and risk across the contract.

You'll lead a multidisciplinary team, deliver performance insight, manage risk, and represent the contract in senior forums with the Home Office and corporate stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide independent assurance on contractual compliance and performance
  • Lead governance frameworks, reporting and audit activity
  • Oversee KPIs, SLAs and performance insight
  • Drive data-led decision making and continuous improvement
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships, including Home Office governance boards
  • Ensure effective risk, audit and compliance management
  • Lead business continuity, information governance and H&S assurance

About You

  • Senior leadership experience in a complex, regulated environment
  • Strong background in governance, assurance, compliance or performance
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical and reporting capability

Desirable

  • Experience in government, justice or custodial environments
  • Knowledge of Home Office contracts
  • Relevant professional or leadership qualifications
