Role Description
The Senior Business Central Finance Functional Consultant will lead the implementation, optimization, and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central finance modules for clients. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Kingdom, involving close collaboration with client stakeholders to understand business requirements, design finance processes, and configure system functionality. The consultant will perform system configuration, testing, and user training, as well as provide post-implementation support and guidance to ensure smooth adoption and ongoing improvement. The role also involves advising clients on best practices in financial management, reporting, and controls, and coordinating with technical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong Finance and Accounting skills, including knowledge of core financial processes such as general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Consulting and Management Consulting, with experience translating business needs into practical, scalable solutions in ERP or finance transformation projects.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, optimize processes, troubleshoot system issues, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or similar ERP finance modules), including configuration, testing, and end-user support.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present complex concepts in clear, accessible terms.
- Proven track record in leading or contributing to full-cycle ERP/finance implementations in a consulting or client-facing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or Microsoft Dynamics certifications) are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in the United Kingdom and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, international consulting environment.
