Job Title: Senior Business Change Manager

Location: UK (Remote)

Duration: 6 months

Contract Start Date: ASAP

IR35: Inside

About the Role

Working with the Deloitte Associate (Contractor) Programme means we can offer you the opportunity to work on a variation of industry and client related projects. Our aim is to retain the best talent and so when your project end date nears our team of Talent Community Advisors will be working with you to look at alternative projects within the firm that suit your experience should you wish to continue with Deloitte.

Role

The Senior Business Change Manager will shape and deliver business change for technology-enabled projects. The role focuses on clear change strategy, practical communication and engagement plans, strong stakeholder relationships, and sustained user adoption. You will also support the Head of Change & Analysis by mentoring junior team members, encouraging innovation, and embedding continual service improvement across the team.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver business change strategies that maximise user adoption, reduce resistance, and support successful IT project delivery.
  • Create clear change and communication plans, including key messages, sponsor roadmaps, stakeholder engagement, resistance management, and adoption activities.
  • Engage technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels, building trust, gaining support, and navigating complex stakeholder needs with confidence and diplomacy.
  • Provide strategic change input at project and board level, ensuring business impacts, risks, and readiness are understood and managed.
  • Oversee change activity during implementation and after go-live, helping teams sustain adoption while avoiding change saturation across the business.
  • Coach and mentor junior business change managers, supporting their development and helping maintain a high-performing team.
  • Champion innovation, including the practical use of AI and other emerging technologies to improve change management processes and team efficiency.
  • Embed a continual service improvement mindset by identifying opportunities to improve services, ways of working, and overall change delivery quality.
  • Lead by example, promote service excellence, and role model the firm's values in day-to-day delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
