The opportunity We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Controller to become a key business partner to the leadership team, supporting strategic decision-making and driving financial and operational performance across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a strong manufacturing background who enjoys working close to operations in a dynamic industrial environment.

Key responsibilities
- Lead Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial Planning (FP&A).
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and management reporting.
- Monitor financial and operational KPIs.
- Analyse manufacturing costs, margins, profitability and inventory performance.
- Partner with Operations, Production and Supply Chain to improve business performance.
- Support strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strengthen financial controls and business processes.
What we're looking for
- 8+ years' experience as a Business Controller, Industrial Controller or Finance Business Partner within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, cost accounting, standard costing, budgeting and operational finance.
- Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel (Power BI is a plus).
- Commercial mindset, strong analytical skills and hands-on approach.
- Native or near-native English proficiency is essential.

Location The role is based at Caldervale's headquarters in Yorkshire, UK. We also welcome applications from candidates based in Spain with native or near-native English who are willing to spend extended periods working on-site.
