We're looking for a collaborative and commercially minded Senior Business Development Executive to join our Business Development team.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of Business Development activity for our Employment and Pensions departments - two strategically important areas of the firm. Working closely with partners and key stakeholders, you'll help shape growth plans, drive impactful initiatives and grow strong client relationships.

What You'll Be Doing

As a trusted adviser to our lawyers, you'll provide commercially focused business development expertise to help deliver successful growth initiatives across the firm. You'll:

  • Support the development, delivery and evaluation of business development and marketing plans that drive profitable growth.
  • Lead and coordinate integrated campaigns, client events, sponsorships, thought leadership activity and digital marketing initiatives in collaboration with specialist marketing teams.
  • Conduct client, market and competitor research to generate insights that support client opportunities and strategic decision-making.
  • Create compelling marketing collateral and sales materials that support new business development activities.
  • Work closely with lawyers to identify client and target opportunities, strengthen relationships and support networking activity.
  • Analyse performance, ROI and engagement metrics, providing recommendations to enhance future activity.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in business development, ideally within professional services
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work with and advise senior colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A commercial mindset and genuine interest in understanding clients, markets and growth opportunities.
  • The ability to influence, challenge constructively and build credibility across the business.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive approach to identifying improvements, efficiencies and new ways of working.
  • An understanding of the legal sector would be advantageous, but not essential.
