The Role: Strategic Growth & Partnerships
The Consumer team drives high-performing, delightful payment experiences through our Connect suite, including flagship products like Flow and Remember Me.
As we enter a high-growth phase for our consumer-facing ecosystem, we are looking for a Senior Business Development Lead. Your primary mission is to drive the mass adoption of our Remember Me, while simultaneously partnering with our top-tier global merchants to co-create the next generation of our financial product suite.
This is a highly collaborative role where you will act as the specialist lead for consumer products, working hand-in-hand with our Global Commercial and Sales teams to unlock new opportunities within our existing merchant base and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Scale Consumer Adoption: Lead the commercial strategy to drive exponential growth of the Remember Me user base Commercial & Sales Collaboration: Partner closely with our internal Sales and Commercial Account Management teams to identify high-potential merchants, acting as the subject matter expert to help them pitch and integrate Flow/Remember Me and our other future solutions. Merchant Collaboration & Co-Creation: Act as a strategic consultant to our key merchant partners, gathering deep market insights to help shape the future roadmap of our emerging products. Engineering & Product Synergy: Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure that real-world merchant feedback and market requirements are translated into world-class product features. Product Fluency: Use a deep understanding of API-led processing to articulate complex financial product value propositions to both technical and commercial audiences. Strategic GTM Execution: Develop and execute go-to-market plans that incentivize merchants to adopt our consumer features, focusing on increased conversion and long-term user loyalty. Cross-Functional Feedback Loop: Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure that merchant feedback and market requirements are translated into world-class product features.

About You
Proven Experience: 7+ years of Business Development or Strategic Partnerships experience, specifically within the UK fintech, payments, or digital commerce space. Internal Influencer: Proven ability to work across large Sales and Commercial organizations, enabling and motivating account teams to sell complex, new-to-market products. Growth Track Record: Demonstrated success in scaling a B2B2C product from early adoption to mass-market volume. Product Fluency: Deep understanding of API-led processing and the ability to articulate complex financial product value propositions to both technical and commercial audiences. Strategic Negotiator: Exceptional ability to navigate sensitive commercial discussions and secure long-term commitments from enterprise-level merchants. Discreet & Proactive: A self-starter who can operate effectively in a "stealth-focused" environment, managing high-stakes projects with professional discretion.
