Senior Business Development Manager
Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager
Location: Remote, UK (requirement for travel)
Reports to: Sales Director
Work schedule: Mon – Fri, 37.5 hours per week

The Opportunity:
The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for generating leads and selling the value proposition for the VitalHub UK Solutions and is expected to create and foster relationships with senior executives and influencers within a host of healthcare settings. The Senior Business Development Manager will work across a group of products that provide solutions across National teams, Regional teams, ICB’s, Acute Trusts, Community & Mental Health and Private Healthcare.
Your Responsibilities:
- Undertake research to identify potential new clients and create sales prospects for the VitalHub UK solutions that falls within the remit of this role.
- Use skills to move prospects through the sales cycle and close these opportunities.
- Achieve assigned targets and KPIs that have been agreed with VHUK executive and line management.
- Visit customer sites / undertake video meetings to present and demonstrate the VitalHub UK solutions to a relevant Healthcare personal and teams.
- Own all prospects and create winning sales strategies.
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to secure new wins.
- Accurately forecasting monthly and quarterly revenue
- Own data quality in CRM for all opportunities and leads, ensuring accuracy of sales stage, deal size, close date, and next actions.
- In conjunction with Sales Director, create and maintain a sales strategy for the VitalHub UK solution that fall within the remit of this role.
- Be able to apply formal sales methodology.
- Understanding the product landscape of solutions and services and how they fit in the marketplace.
- Establish productive, professional customer relationships with key personnel (stakeholders and executive sponsor) within the National/Regional teams, ICB’s and Trusts.
- Operate as a point of contact for all Sales matters specific to the customers.
- Involvement in solution development efforts, with technical and commercial colleagues, to ensure Vitalhub UK solutions continue to address customer’s needs.
- Involvement in marketing and sales activity, building business cases and actively contribute to forecasts and plans.
- Deputise for the Sales Director in their absence, providing leadership continuity and representing the sales function at senior forums and decision-making meetings.
- Any additional ad hoc duties as required by the business from time to time.

Essential Experience:
- Ambitious, organised, target driven individual looking to be part of a fast-moving team.
- Must be highly self-motivated and use initiative.
- Communicates at all levels effectively – strong telephone and written skills.
- Able to resolve problems effectively and identify the cause – detail oriented.
- Highly articulate and numerate with an ability to work with budgets.
- Able to demonstrate consistent target delivery.
- Excellent deal management skills.
- A focused approach to customer service and work towards exceeding the customer’s expectations.
- Influential with peers, superiors, and customers - confidence and a persuasive manner in presentations and negotiations
- Tenacious, resilient, organised and structured.
- Able to multi-task handling multiple client accounts.
- Time management skills.
- Good knowledge and experience in all Microsoft Office software.
- Highly professional in all aspects of work.
