The Vacancy

We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to help us accelerate growth across our Aerospace sector.

You’ll facilitate significant and strategic growth across our Aerospace sector, as part of our broader Future Mobility activity, through the identification and conversion of sales opportunities. This will primarily be direct industrial projects as well as complementary ‘collaborative research & development’ (CR&D) activities, which are completed in partnership with industry organisations and a variety of public sector bodies with the focus on delivering high impact manufacturing transformation for individual organisations, industry sectors, and UK Plc.

As Senior Business Development Manager you’ll be responsible for

  • Driving revenue growth across Aerospace and the wider Future Mobility sector
  • Identifying opportunities within existing accounts and new markets to create mutual value
  • Understanding customer’s technological and strategic roadmaps, needs, and requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining strategic/key account plans
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to provide world class outcomes
  • Lead generation, pipeline management, and reporting through the phases of opportunity identification, validation, qualification, and closing.

Who We’re Looking For.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
