We've been engaged to recruit an Enterprise Business Development Manager for a rapidly growing education technology business. This is a strategic new business role focused on winning enterprise customers across apprenticeship providers and large employers, helping drive the next phase of the company's growth.


The Company

Our client is a leading provider of apprenticeship management software, helping training providers and employers manage learner enrolment, funding, compliance, and programme delivery through a single cloud-based platform.

The Role

  • Sell enterprise apprenticeship management software to training providers and large employers across the UK
  • Target senior stakeholders including CEOs, COOs, Heads of learning, Quality Directors, and Curriculum Directors
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes with typical sales cycles of 6-12 months
  • Inherit live enterprise opportunities while building your own pipeline through networking, conferences, and strategic business development
  • Typical contract values range from £300K-£1M+
  • Work closely with senior leadership throughout the sales process before handing customers to the Customer Success team

The Candidate

  • 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience
  • A proven track record of winning complex, multi-stakeholder software deals
  • Experience selling six-figure or seven-figure technology solutions
  • A consultative, relationship-led approach with excellent listening and discovery skills
  • Highly organised, credible, and comfortable developing opportunities over long sales cycles
  • Experience within education technology, HR technology, or enterprise software would be advantageous but is not essential

The Package

  • Basic Salary: £70,000-£80,000
  • OTE: £91,000-£104,000 (uncapped)
  • Benefits:
    • Pension

    • Travel expenses paid
    • Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays

Working Pattern: Remote, with travel to customer meetings, events, and Bristol HQ as required.
