We're hiring a Senior Business Development Manager
To join a leading technology solutions provider, focused on driving new business growth across infrastructure, managed services, cloud and digital transformation solutions.
This is a strategic new business role where you'll be responsible for identifying, qualifying and securing high-value opportunities across enterprise organisations within the Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) sector. You'll manage complex sales pursuits from initial engagement through to contract signature, working closely with technical, bid and delivery teams to develop tailored solutions that solve critical business challenges.
The role
- Generate new business opportunities across infrastructure, managed services and digital transformation solutions
- Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline capable of delivering and exceeding revenue targets
- Develop relationships with senior decision-makers across Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) organisations
- Manage complex, multi-year sales opportunities from qualification through to negotiation and close
- Develop strategic account and opportunity plans to maximise win rates
- Lead cross-functional bid teams, collaborating with bid, technical, delivery and service management specialists throughout the sales process
- Present tailored solutions that align with customer objectives and commercial requirements
- Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity forecasting and pipeline management
- Consistently achieve and exceed new business sales targets

What we're looking for:
- Proven experience selling IT solutions and managed services into the Critical National Infrastructure (CNI), Energy or Utilities verticals
- Strong track record of winning complex, multi-year enterprise technology contracts
- Experience managing long, consultative B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Proven ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills
- Experience collaborating with bid, technical and delivery teams throughout complex sales pursuits
- Comfortable managing CRM systems, sales forecasting and pipeline reporting
- Self-motivated, resilient and driven to consistently exceed sales targets
