About the Role
Kingsley Napley is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead business development and marketing activity for our Dispute Resolution, Criminal Litigation, Regulatory and Public Law practices. This is a senior, high profile role supporting market leading teams.
You’ll act as a trusted adviser to partners and firm leadership, shaping strategy, driving growth initiatives and leading a talented BD & Marketing team in a fast paced, often time critical environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and deliver integrated BD & marketing strategies aligned to firmwide priorities
- Advise partners on commercial planning, go to market strategy and opportunities
- Line manage and develop three BDM Managers
- Oversee major pitches, panels, credentials, directories, and awards submissions
- Provide senior input into campaigns working closely with the central marketing team
- Use market insight, data and client feedback to influence strategy and decision making

What We’re Looking For
- Significant BD & marketing experience within legal preferred
- Proven leadership and line management experience
- Confidence operating at senior partner level as both strategist and delivery lead
- Strong commercial, project management and communication skills
- Calm, resilient and credible in high pressure situations
