Senior Business Development Manager (Events & Partnerships)
📍 Hybrid | Maidstone, Kent (Flexible for the right candidate) 💰 £50,000 - £60,000 + Uncapped Commission + Career Progression
About the Role
Help shape the future of diversity within the global automotive industry.
We're partnering with one of the world's fastest-growing automotive communities to recruit an experienced Business Development professional who thrives on opening doors, building relationships and winning new business.
This isn't your typical event sales role.
You'll be selling corporate partnerships, sponsorship packages and strategic memberships to some of the biggest automotive manufacturers, suppliers and technology businesses across the globe. With a community of over 50,000 professionals spanning more than 100 countries, you'll represent a genuinely respected brand that already works with many of the industry's biggest names.
The Opportunity
You'll identify new commercial opportunities, engage senior decision makers and help organisations showcase their brand through conferences, speaking opportunities, sponsorship packages and corporate memberships.

What You'll Be Doing
- Winning new corporate partnerships
- Selling sponsorship packages across international events
- Building relationships with senior leaders across Automotive, Technology and Engineering
- Generating new business through LinkedIn, email and outbound calling
- Managing opportunities through the full sales cycle
- Conducting Teams meetings with prospective partners
- Working closely with the Founder to develop new commercial opportunities
- Representing the business at industry events when required

We're Looking For
You'll probably come from one of the following backgrounds:
- Event Sponsorship Sales
- Conference Sales
- Corporate Membership Sales
- Business Development
- Commercial Partnerships
- B2B Professional Services
- Media or Advertising Sales
Most importantly, you'll be someone who:
