Job Description:

Visitor Chat is one of the UK's leading providers of customer engagement solutions, helping businesses generate more leads, increase conversions and deliver exceptional customer experiences through our unique blend of Human and AI-powered technology.

As we continue our expansion across the UK, Europe and North America, we're looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager with a proven background in SaaS and technology sales to lead our Business Development team and drive the next phase of our growth.

This is not a traditional sales management role. We're seeking a commercially astute leader who has successfully sold complex software or technology solutions, built strategic partnerships and consistently delivered significant revenue growth in a high-performance environment.

The Opportunity

As Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering our business development strategy, identifying new market opportunities and leading a high-performing sales team.

You will have a proven ability to win and develop high-value accounts, manage complex sales cycles and engage with senior decision-makers to deliver long-term commercial success.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute Visitor Chat's business development strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities across the UK and international markets.
  • Manage complex B2B sales cycles, from prospecting and discovery through to negotiation, contract completion and client handover.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, dealer groups, OEMs and strategic partners.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Business Development team, creating a high-performance, consultative sales culture.
  • Deliver compelling commercial proposals and negotiate agreements that maximise long-term value.
  • Identify new markets, partnerships and revenue opportunities to support continued business growth.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting and CRM records.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Product teams to deliver an exceptional customer journey.
  • Represent Visitor Chat at client meetings, networking events and industry exhibitions across the UK and internationally.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
