Senior Business Development Manager
At a high-profile law firm – Supporting the Infrastructure Practice in London
About the Role
We’re assisting a senior law firm in their search for a Senior Business Development Manager to drive the expansion of their Infrastructure Practice in London.
As part of a dynamic team, you’ll:
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and partners
- Lead strategic business development (BD) initiatives across Digital Infrastructure transactions, Private Equity, and M&A ad-hoc projects
- Support client growth, pitch development, market positioning, and cross-practice collaboration

Key Responsibilities
Client & Pipeline Growth
- Prepare pitches, proposals, RFPs, credentials, and client materials
- Develop and implement business development strategy, including client targeting and pipeline activity
- Track BD activity and maintain accurate records
Market & Operational Support
- Manage directory submissions, awards, market research, and CRM updates
- Collaborate on thought leadership, events, and cross-selling opportunities
- Maintain marketing collateral and Experience records

Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or marketing within law firms
- Strong stakeholder management, writing, and project coordination skills
- Familiarity with research tools (e.g., PitchBook, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Refinitiv) is advantageous
- Highly organised, commercially minded, and capable of managing competing priorities
