Our client is a payment infrastructure platform that empowers global businesses to process transactions seamlessly across Asia's diverse markets. They offer pay-in and payout solutions through over 50 local payment methods, including bank transfers, e-wallets, and cards. Their services cater to merchants, financial institutions, and digital wallets, ensuring compliance and security in all transactions.
Role Overview
Join a dynamic team as a Senior Business Development Manager, where you'll have the opportunity to build and lead the Business Development function from the ground up. This role offers the chance to define and execute outbound strategies, create scalable processes, and significantly impact the company's growth in international markets. You'll work with modern sales technologies in a fully remote environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and establish the Business Development function from the ground up, designing scalable outbound processes, playbooks, and best practices.
- Define and execute the outbound strategy, creating a predictable pipeline through prospecting, lead generation, and qualification.
- Lead all top-of-funnel activities, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality opportunities for the sales organization.
- Design and optimize multi-channel outreach campaigns across email, LinkedIn, phone, and other relevant channels.
- Implement and continuously improve the Business Development tech stack, leveraging CRM systems, AI-powered tools, and sales engagement platforms.
- Develop lead qualification frameworks, outreach standards, KPIs, and reporting processes to drive measurable performance.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and customer meetings, building strategic relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align messaging, targeting, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Bring market intelligence and customer insights into the business to influence commercial strategy and product positioning.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead the Business Development team as the function grows, fostering a high-performance and results-driven culture.

Requirements
- 4–6+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Go-to-Market roles, with a strong focus on outbound sales and new business acquisition.
- Proven experience building or scaling a Business Development function, outbound processes, or commercial operations from the ground up.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching Business Development professionals, or a clear readiness to step into a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of outbound sales methodologies across email, LinkedIn, phone, and account-based prospecting.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, AI-powered productivity tools, and modern sales engagement technologies.
- Solid background in fintech, payments, banking, cryptocurrency, SaaS, or related technology sectors, with a strong understanding of the industry landscape.
- An established network within the fintech or payments ecosystem is a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to design processes, define KPIs, and optimize performance using data.
- Fluent English; additional languages are a strong plus.
- Comfortable working in a remote-first, fast-paced environment with a high level of ownership and autonomy.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, industry events, and team gatherings.
