Senior Business Development Manager - Motorsport
Our mission is to improve the performance of athletes and teams, which we do by engineering the premier technology platform for sport. We've been at the forefront of sports technology and science since 2006 - we don't just work in the sporting industry, we are actively changing its future. Our solutions are designed to help athletes and coaches “play smart” in a world where 1% can literally mean the difference between winning and losing
We work with over 5,000 teams around the world, empowering coaches, managers and trainers in premier teams in the NFL, NBA, EPL, AFL, NRL and more. We provide the information they need to optimise athletes’ health, game-day readiness, and performance, as well as in-game tactics. Our solutions include wearable technology, video analytics, and athlete monitoring solutions, and we are passionate about helping sports organisations at all levels to better scout, recruit, train, and win.
WE WANT PEOPLE WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT MOTORSPORT, SALES AND WANT TO WIN
Catapult is an established technology partner across elite motorsport, working with teams, circuits, and race control operations across F1, Formula E, WEC, and global series. You will be responsible for identifying and winning new business across underpenetrated segments of the EMEA motorsport market — including circuits, GT racing, WEC, and regional series — while representing Catapult with credibility and professionalism across the motorsport community.
You will report to the Head of Motorsport Commercial and work alongside technical directors, race strategists, circuit operations managers, and race directors to drive the adoption of Catapult’s RaceWatch platform across elite motorsport. This is a UK-based role with territory responsibility across EMEA.
What You'll Do
Increase Sales in the region in line with specified targets. Build and develop relationships with prospects across motorsport teams, circuits, series organisations, and race control operations through direct engagement at events, races, and paddock environments. Efficiently gather market and customer information to qualify each prospect's buying intention and ability, to support negotiation on price, delivery and customer management. Provide accurate feedback on future buying intentions of customers and prospects. Manage a pipeline of customers and prospects through buying stages from initial meeting, through presentation and closing the sale. Present and demonstrate Catapult’s RaceWatch platform and performance analytics solutions to technical and commercial stakeholders as part of a structured sales process. Issue quotes and detailed proposals to customers and prospects and work with each organisation to progress the buying decision. Work with Catapult’s management to set targets for sales opportunities and revenue within the market. Be self-critical and manage your own performance and processes to meet or exceed these targets. Support the information needs of Catapult management including keeping pipelines, prospects and sales records always accurate and up to date. Support commercial activity and market presence within the EMEA motorsport calendar, including series events, circuit visits, and industry engagements as directed by commercial leadership. Personally represent Catapult across the EMEA motorsport community — at circuits, paddocks, series events, and industry forums.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
