Senior Business Development Manager, Myopia Management – Midlands (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)
About the Role
Senior Business Development Manager, Myopia Management opportunity for a dynamic team within a global leader in contact lenses.
Based in the Midlands, your role involves supporting contact lens retailers in adopting myopia management solutions. You’ll be responsible for growing sales in targeted optical retailers, supporting practice leaders, eye care professionals, and front-of-house teams. Your expertise in MiSight 1-day lenses and wider contact lenses will drive product adoption through close collaboration with regional account teams, marketing, and professional affairs.
The Senior Business Development Manager will:
- Cultivate relationships with CV’s customer teams to deliver tailored myopia business plans.
- Lead adoption of myopia products in key accounts to meet sales targets.
- Enhance clinical expertise and train retailers.
- Ensure a seamless, high-quality client experience across sales channels.
Those with expert customer relationship skills, hands-on sales delivery, and an enthusiasm to partner with retailers in the CS eye care landscape should apply.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Development
- Drive activation and adoption of myopia specialist contact lenses to hit sales targets.
- Collaborate with BDMs to ensure consistency in account management and customer strategy.
- Lead regional/retail training programmes and seminars on MiSight and Myopia management.
- Dance-charge with suppliers and formulate actionable retail-specific action plans.
- Coordinate local marketing strategies with success measurements and ROI reporting.

Client & Team Engagement
- Build strong sales relationships with owners, store managers, and Practitioners.
- Maintain open lines of communication with VAR teams (Regional Managers, Key Account Managers).
- Articulate clinical data (individual studies, fit histories) as compelling key differentiators.
- Deliver high impact presentations to influence decision-makers.
- Represent CooperVision at exhibitions, trade events, and customer meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
You must:
- Have proven myopia and specialist contact lens experience with high account penetration.
- Demonstrate advanced commercial judgement with a results-driven mindset.
- Possess knowledge of adult fittings, ortho-K, extended-wear observation studies.
- Hold a full, clean driving license.
- Show exceptional communication and presentation skills to coach retailers in fitting myopia solutions.
- Master proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
- Embrace frequent travel requirements across the Midlands region.
