Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an industry leading Software Company who are recruiting a Business Development Manager to join their expanding team, based in the outskirts of Oxford.
The successful candidate will possess experience selling services in a consultative manner, with the ability to oversee the full sales cycle, with long term career aims. Experience within the technology/SAAS sector is advantageous, though candidates with a background in relatable industries will also be considered. Please note, the role involves commuting to the Oxfordshire-based office once a week.
There is an excellent remuneration package on offer including a basic salary of up to £50k-£60k DOE, with an uncapped commission structure realistically offering an additional £40k-£50k OTE, alongside 30 days holidays, 23 personal development days a year, £700 a year to spend on anything which aids your work-life balance, a fully paid month-long sabbatical after 5 years’ service and flexible working options.
Skills & Experience
- Experience within a similar 360 B2B sales role
- A background in technology, software, digital marketing or similar
- Experience selling to both private and public sector advantageous
- Experience writing proposals and tenders advantageous
- Ability to achieve KPIs and motivated by targets to achieve commission
- Excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving licence

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver a multi-channel approach to generate new business with both new and existing clients
- Researching potential clients generating leads with autonomy
- Contributing in strategy meetings, having an input in how to contact new clients
- Meeting and exceeding monthly sales key performance indicators such as, number of new customer contacts, number of lead conversions and number of closed sales
- Qualifying and understanding all opportunities effectively
- Ensure the database is kept updated
