Are you passionate about helping UK businesses grow internationally? Do you thrive on building relationships, influencing stakeholders and turning strategy into action? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We're looking for 2 Senior Business Development Officers to join our high-performing team and play a key role in delivering UKEF's ambition to support more UK exporters across every region and nation of the UK.

Working closely with the Head of UK Business Development, Export Finance Managers and colleagues across UKEF, you'll help implement our Business Development Strategy and support delivery of UKEF's 2024–2029 Business Plan. You will identify opportunities to raise awareness of UKEF's products and services, strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, and support initiatives that help businesses access the finance and insurance solutions they need to succeed in global markets.

This is a varied and influential role where you'll:

  • Support national and regional business development activity
  • Represent UKEF at events, workshops and industry forums
  • Work with partners across government, finance and trade networks
  • Use data, market intelligence and AI-enabled insights to identify opportunities in new sectors and customer groups, helping shape a targeted and impactful approach to exporter engagement

We're looking for someone who combines:

Experience of stakeholder engagement, business development, account management or partnership working would be highly valuable.

This home-based role offers flexibility, but regular travel across the UK will be required.
