Senior Business Development Representative
Sr Business Development Representative (BDR) – Commercial/Enterprise Accounts
Docker – Remote (EMEA Focus)

Building the future of software delivery requires driving adoption—so we need a commercial-focused Sr Business Development Representative to accelerate enterprise-scale adoption of Docker’s visionary tools.
About the Role
We’re a globally distributed, fully remote-first team at the heart of developer infrastructure, powering Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout. This results-driven BDR will prospect, qualify, and nurture enterprise and commercial accounts ready to scale with Docker.
Ideal candidates:
- Prioritise lead generation for commercial/enterprise accounts.
- Thrives in high-lift commercial environments.
- Excited by deep tech (DevOps/Cloud/Native) but can translate value in business terms.
This is a hybrid SDR/ABD (Account-Based Development) role—proactively growing large accounts before handing off to Account Executives.
Responsibilities
Qualification & Lead Generation

Execute targeted prospecting campaigns (cold outreach, email, hybrid) to identify and engage Docker Portal users responsive to enterprise/commercial value.

Skip: Unqualified tech-only, hobbyist, or non-decision-making users.

Nail: Commercial especially—targeting SaaS, game dev, AI ML, Arcadia Academy, Teradici, code.moville, and similar FTE = 20+ companies.

Critical channels: Proactively reach via all relevant avenues.

Key metrics goal: Schedule X outreach contacts/month per person, hitting Y weekly demo bookings.

Key Requirements
- Developmental sales experience: Pipeline management experience servicing Commercial & Enterprise prospects.
- Track record of outbound success: importance assigned to immediate high-lift commercial.
- Tongue-diplomacy: Balance given product edge with selling commercial-grade enterprise visualisations.
- Visible resolution focus: Approach accountability as partnership.
- Regional emphasis: High web presence in EUR + supplemental work with global site tech commercial markets.
- Essential: Clean approach from ideation, product-demo-ready at the knock - voicemails.
- Bonus: Angelhack Fellows, Austia TL or both.
